Question 1; History of ecommerce

Ecommerce is the act of buying products online or through an online shop. 10 years ago this was not an activity, a person had to actually go into a shop in order to buy something. Since the expansion and growth in popularity and use of the Internet ecommerce has become a large part of internet users time. The definition of ecommerce is as follows, "E-commerce is the buying and selling of goods and services,or transmitting of funds or data,over an electronic network" (Rouse,2015)

Ecommerce has become such a big thing in today's world as everything is so fast paced and moves quickly therefore people see and realize the convenience of buying and selling online as it to happens a lot quicker than the normal way or buying and selling goods. Often good sold online are also cheaper than would be found in a store as companies that only sell goods online do not have the large over heads of having to pay a large number of employees. Delivery of products is also a lot faster,many online stores have a "rush" option that with an added fee the products the shopper has bought will be delivered to their house within 24 hours of the transaction going through,which also appeals to consumers in the fast paced world that we live and work in.

Due to the effectiveness and speed of buying and selling online is why ecommerce has grown so rapidly among internet users and can only grow as the internet grows and more people become more active digital citizens.




Question 2: Importance of being informed

The importance of being informed is a crucial skill that one needs to learn in able to get through life effectively and aware what is going on around you. The definition of informed is: having or showing knowledge of a subject or situation.

One needs to be informed in order to make educated comments during everyday life, being informed means that one has critically looked and evaluated a situation or information in a critical manner in order to make a discussion about it.

A person cannot go through life and making choices and decisions without being informed on the situation as then the person is basically taking a shot in the dark without any knowledge of the situation or how their uninformed decisions will effect the final out come.
